Laura Kotti taught English at USC for 10 years. In 2017, she was a recipient of the Two Thumbs Up Award from the Office of Student Disability Services.

In her free time, Kotti plays violin in the Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys traveling, especially to literary landmarks. In 2016, she visited the Mount, Edith Wharton's historic home in Lenox, MA. While a student at SLIS, she studied abroad in London and Scotland, and she hopes to aid students in achieving the same goals. She also enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews.
