Research Interests

Quantifying the use of empathy and positive regard in psychotherapy to provide empirical support for the mental health field through the use of likert scales and standardization of measuring empathy. Other research interests include understanding the orientation of coping mechanisms of populations whom have experienced trauma based on experiences, culture, etiology, former treatment, and personality inventories. Are specific coping mechanisms a learned or innate trait?
