|Title:||Director of Development
|College of Education|
Erin Taute Eigenbrot joined the College of Education as the Director of Development
in August 2016. She transitioned from the College of Arts and Sciences where she served
as a Director of Development. Since arriving at the University of South Carolina in
January 2015, she has facilitated $1,557,528 in closed gifts on behalf of Arts & Sciences.
In doing so, she has forged meaningful relationships with prospects as well as strong
relationships with college stakeholders, exhibiting talents that bode well for great
success in support of Education.
Erin’s experience in development and alumni relations spans over 12 years when she first entered the industry as a student phonathon caller at her alma mater, Miami University. Prior to her time at the University of South Carolina, she served as an Assistant Director in Athletics Development for the University of Central Florida managing a major gift portfolio and overseeing all donor relations. Working closely with the Director of Athletics, Erin and the Golden Knights Club team created strategic efforts to cultivate philanthropic support in a young and untapped donor base.
Prior to her time at Central Florida, she held other positions in advancement at her alma mater as an Assistant Director and Graduate Assistant for the Miami University Alumni Association. Her desire to pursue a career in higher education also began at Miami as a three-time collegiate national champion on the varsity synchronized skating team. It was through those intercollegiate experiences she realized she wanted to spend her career as an advocate for higher education.
She holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology, Graduate Certificate in Fundraising, and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology.
