In order to spark innovation and create lasting change, it became imperative for Accelerator for Leadership and Learning in South Carolina (ALL4SC) to go directly to the source—educators—  to learn how ALL4SC can advance what works in Fairfield County. Beginning in February, ALL4SC staff sat down with educators from Fairfield Elementary School, Fairfield Middle School, Fairfield Career and Technology Center, and Fairfield Central High School.

Educators discussed the incredible programs and initiatives that already exist in Fairfield County schools, but also shared what challenges they face within their schools along with the broader community.

These sessions were about truly listening to educators to discover how ALL4SC can accelerate what works and how ALL4SC can connect Fairfield educators to resources that address the challenges they face. From there, the group also discussed what community-based schooling and whole-child education may look like within Fairfield.

This is just the beginning of the important work to come in Fairfield.
