Online Education: Degree Programs


B.A. in Elementary Education

The Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education offers you the same access to our outstanding faculty and staff as our traditional programs. To be admitted to the online elementary education program, you will need to have completed 45 hours of college-level courses, and 36 of these hours must be from a specific list of classes. You also need a minimum GPA of 2.50 to be admitted. Full information on the degree is available from Palmetto College.


Curriculum and Instruction, Ed.D.

There are two areas of concentration in the Curriculum and Instruction Ed.D.-  Educational Technology, and Curriculum Studies. The Educational Technology concentration teaches you to design, implement and evaluate technology-based learning methods and equipment, and the Curriculum Studies concentration focuses on using a balanced approach to diversity in schools and other educational institutions.

Both concentrations stress the importance of core and diverse curriculum issues while preparing you for university professorships, district-level curriculum administration, and school-level instructional and leadership positions,

Because of this degree's intense focus, you will need either a concentration in Curriculum Studies or Education Technology to join this program. Educational Administration, M.Ed.

Educational Technology, M.Ed.

This M.Ed. program will help you develop the skills essential to design, evaluate and deliver of technology-based instruction and training, including software and multimedia development, assistive technology modifications, Web-based applications and other forms of distance learning. If you are already a certified teacher, our online Master of Education in Teaching is the program for you.
