I received Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Criminal Justice Administration in 2014 and a Masters degree in Management with a concentration in Project Management in 2017. Both degrees were proudly earned from Strayer University. While personally and professionally developing at The Citadel, I completed coursework toward the MBA but did not graduate.

I began working in higher education at the College of Charleston in 2000. I served as the Office Manager in Student Affairs (Office of the Dean of Students & Sr. VP) for about 12 years. I loved it. I worked with the population of students that found themselves in trouble. There was never a dull moment and I worked alongside the Dean of Students, handling minor to serious code of conduct violations.

After thirsting for more knowledge and while working to complete coursework, I served in two primary positions at The Citadel (Military College of the South), Administrative Assistant in the Health and Human Performance Department and Program Coordinator II in the Undergraduate Research and Grants Office. Once I received my Masters degree, I was cleared to serve as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching Fitness Resiliency Wellness (RPED 260, formerly known as RPED 250&251). My personal goal was to teach for 2 years in order to develop extra upfront leadership skills. During my 3rd year of teaching, I realized that the goals that I had set for myself had been met and exceeded. Here I am at USC - still loving every minute of serving in the higher education environment.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
