Chastity has served as an educator for the past 20 years, most recently as the Associate Director of Clinical Experiences at USC’s College of Education. In this role, she worked to plan, coordinate and provide support and management of clinical experiences for students in teacher certification programs within and outside the College of Education. Prior to joining USC, she taught middle level science for 14 years. Chastity began her teaching career in Charleston County School District and served the last years in Richland School Districts One and Two. While working as a classroom teacher, she served in various roles related to leadership and mentoring. In each role, she helped with planning, developing, implementing and evaluating both school and district-wide programs. As an educator and lifelong learner, Chastity is very passionate about teaching, learning, coaching and mentoring. 

Chastity attended college at the University of South Carolina, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Education in Educational Administration. She is currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Educational Practice and Innovation with a concentration in STEM Education. In her free time, Chastity enjoys shopping, browsing Pinterest for home decor ideas and working on DIY projects.
