PART OF THE WASHINGTON SEMESTER PROGRAM IN DC--This seminar class will explore contemporary domestic public policy issues. Students will discuss social, economic, and political issues and current events. Students will be expected to remain informed of current events. This course will also prepare students for future careers through the exploration of internships, extracurricular activities, volunteer activities, networking, and other related opportunities. Grades will be determined through daily reading assignments, weekly short writing assignments, three position papers, one in-class presentation, and one research paper.
