**This course is open to honors students from any major and is most appropriate for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. It’s an interdisciplinary course focused on creativity, innovation and problem solving.** Benjamin Franklin famously argued that just two things in life are guaranteed: death and taxes. While his point is well taken, please consider a third…PROBLEMS. No matter who you are or what you do, problems are as sure as shadows to follow everywhere you go. They shape our very existence. What if you approached important life challenges with the discipline, tactics, and resolve of a skilled Olympian? How might you design something new or reimagine the old, particularly when competition increases, technology disrupts, inequity grows, change accelerates, money tightens, and work-life balance…imbalances?Throughout this course, we will play a number of innovation games. Gamifying problems offers a powerful framework for motivating and unifying teams. Beyond exploring inventive solutions, participants develop an arsenal of transferable strategies around collaboration, creativity, research, feedback, facilitation, culture, and team dynamics. Many concepts are drawn from Dr. David Cutler’s upcoming book Problem-Solving Champion. Open to honors students of all majors. Geared towards aspiring leaders and dreamers eager to reimagine the future. Bring an open mind, lots of post-its, and a banjo (optional). Life is a game. Work is a game. Money is a game. Happiness is a game. Success is a game. If it truly matters, play to win...

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
