Use this form to request a credit-bearing course be considered as an approved BTC experience. Check to make sure you are not submitting a course that has already been pre-approved. Independent study courses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Classroom-based capstone classes are not typically approved for BTC. As some courses can be repeated, a new form should be submitted for each semester in which you will receive credit. Submissions for courses already completed will not be considered.

The application for BTC consideration for spring 2026 will close Jan. 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. and must be submitted no later than 5 business days after the last date to add a course according to the USC academic calendar.
