Purpose
The Black Honors Caucus (BHC) works to establish a sense of community among Black students within the Honors College and across campus. It is the BHC’s mission to promote community interaction, facilitate dialogue between the Black student community and the general Honors community and provide a forum for the open expression of the political, social and cultural views of Black students.
The Black Honors Caucus functions as a multipurposed organization that serves as a social group, service group and a pre-professional networking group connecting Black students and alumni. Even more importantly, the BHC is a safe space for Black Honors students to embrace shared heritage and experiences with one another.
