What drew you to the field of medicine?

Growing up, I spent most of my time losing myself in TV shows and movies. In middle school, I got more interested in science fiction, and was exposed to all sorts of fictitious technology that in some way enhanced the capabilities of the human body. As I exposed myself to healthcare through volunteering and internships, I fell in love with the idea of bettering the human body in general, not just through biotech. As a physician, I'd like to aid the body in reaching its potential through medicine, and help people reach their healthy ideal to the best of my abilities.

What are your future plans?

One of my goals as a practitioner is to return to my home in Punjab, India, and help set up better health facilities there, perhaps even my own clinic. I have seen firsthand what a lack of proper health services could do to rural areas, with the pandemic affecting my village and countless others drastically. To me, it is essential that all individuals, no matter where they are born in the world, have adequate access to proper healthcare facilities.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
