College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management

  • The UofSC Visitor Center is located in McKissick Museum at the head of the Historic Horseshoe. The Horseshoe is the historic center of campus and is surrounded by the oldest academic buildings and residence halls at UofSC. The center of the Horseshoe is a green, shady lawn, where students like to gather to study, play frisbee, do yoga, or nap.

Virtual Visits

While COVID-19 has disrupted our ability to host you on campus, we'd still love for you to meet with us virtually. Whether your mind is already made up about where you will study, or you still have some exploring to do, we'd love to have an opportunity to "show you around."

University of South Carolina Tours

If you would like to get a feel for what it's like to be a student at the University of South Carolina, your first step is to schedule a virtual campus tour through the Visitor Center.

College of HRSM Information Sessions

If you want more specific information about the College of HRSM, we invite you to also attend one of our virtual question and answer sessions led by Collin Crick, director of enrollment management and professional development, Close-Hipp Building, by including this session when you schedule a virtual campus tour through the Visitor Center.

In our virtual sessions, you will be in a safe environment where you and your family can feel completely at ease about asking any and all questions that you may have. Nothing discussed has any impact on your admission to the university or to the college, so if you have any concerns that we might be able to address, please let us know.

Speak with an HRSM Student Ambassador

During your virtual visit with us, you may also have the opportunity to meet an HRSM student ambassador who is currently an HRSM student. The HRSM Student Ambassador Group is a student-run organization, and during non-pandemic times, they serve as hosts for a variety of college events and activities such as homecoming, alumni functions and college receptions, as well as prospective student recruitment meetings and special events of the Dean.
