isitor Policy
iitorThe University of South Carolina’s graduates enter the practice of law at a rate
well above the national average for law schools, which makes the opportunities for
experiential learning even more crucial. USC has continuously offered clinical courses
since 1968.
Special student-practice rules adopted by the South Carolina Supreme Court and the United States District Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit allow third-year students enrolled in clinical courses to represent clients and appear in court under the supervision of a faculty member.
