About the Program

Discover how accessible gaming can open doors to connection, creativity, and fun. This webinar introduces Jett Foundation’s Overjoyed Accessible Gaming software, an innovative gaming tool designed to support players with limited mobility through alternative input methods.

We’ll explore what it takes to build inclusive technology, why community feedback matters, and how participants can help shape accessible tools through hands-on testing. The session wraps up with a live, interactive gameplay experience—demonstrating how adaptive tech can bring people together in real time, even over Zoom.

Whether you’re a technologist, educator, accessibility advocate, gamer, or ally, this session will leave you inspired and equipped to support more inclusive digital experiences.

Participants will learn:

  1. About the story behind the groundbreaking Overjoyed Accessible Gaming software—a tool that empowers individuals with limited mobility to game using just a mouse or eye movement.
  2. Why playtesting is key to building inclusive tech and how they can volunteer as beta testers.
  3. How adaptive technology brings joy, connection, and empowerment while using Overjoyed to play Mario Kart live through Zoom.

Anthony DeVergillo

Anthony DeVergillo is a communications professional and disability inclusion advocate from New Jersey who lives with a muscle-weakening condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Through his difficulties with leaving home due to his disability, Anthony has gained a personal understanding and passion for developing virtual options that replicate every in-person social experience. Additionally, his career managing communications at Amicus Therapeutics, a pharmaceutical company specializing in rare disease, has helped him grow into a leader and inspired his personal volunteer work with rare disease nonprofits. Anthony is currently running the Overjoyed For Inclusion pilot program at the nonprofit Jett Foundation, where he combines technology and social fun with his inclusion projects spanning video game accessibility, virtual events, music, cooking, and more. His proudest achievement is developing the Overjoyed Accessible Gaming software, a free Microsoft Store app helping everyone play video games using any way they move their mouse cursor and click!
