About the Program
In this training we will explore how to use Attainment’s latest AAC device, the GoTalk
Connect. Explore the flexible possibilities of what this mid-tech device is capable
of. Will also detail how it works in conjunction with the GoTalk DESIGN & CONNECT
software program.
Participants Will Learn:
- How to use the varying grid orientations on the GoTalk Connect device.
- How to create overlays that can be used with the GoTalk Connect.
- How to transfer audio data between the GoTalk Connect and GoTalk DESIGN & CONNECT
software.
Target Audience: SLP’s & Teachers who support students who use AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
About the Presenters
Jon Karbo
Jon Karbo received his bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin
– Madison. He has specialized in Assistive Technology during the past decade working
for Attainment Company. He works to help develop apps to aid people with complex communication
needs, as well as apps that provide students with disabilities the opportunity to
participate in classroom settings. Jon also offers training and support so that families
and educators can get the most benefit from using the tools and technology available
from Attainment. Presently, Jon is Director of Software Communications for the Attainment
Company, Verona WI.
