About the Program

Target Audience: People with disabilities, older adults, caregivers, therapists, and educators

This virtual training introduces the Achievement Board, a versatile tool designed to support fine motor development, sensory engagement, and independence for individuals with disabilities and older adults. Participants will learn practical strategies to use the Board at home or in therapy to promote skill-building through play and daily activities.

Learning Objectives:

  1. How to use the Achievement Board to build fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory efficiency.
  2. Adaptable strategies to encourage engagement through tactile, auditory, and visual input using the Board's customizable peg system.
  3. Ways to incorporate the Achievement Board into everyday routines and play for rehabilitation and skill-building.

Will Pearce is the founder of Attento Board and creator of the Achievement Board, a versatile tool designed to support independence for people of all abilities. After collapsing during a race in 2017 and surviving cardiac arrest, Will became passionate about helping others and turning his own challenge into a positive force for accessibility and empowerment.
