About the Program
One of the hottest topics of discussion in education circles lately is executive functioning.
What we will do in this presentation is clarify the relationship between executive
functions (the cognitive processes in our brains) and executive functioning (the behaviors
that we observe in others that help them stay organized and get their work done).
We’ll provide some tips and examples of improving executive functions and executive
functioning.
Participants Will Learn:
- What executive functions are and the role they play in behavior and academics.
- The connection between executive functions and specific behaviors that represent good
executive functioning.
- Strategies to help individuals with weaker executive functions perform better at executive
functioning and tools to build stronger executive functions.
Target Audience: Educators, Parents
