About the Program

Assistive Technology (AT) devices and services have been mandated for years through IDEA federal legislation. As a result, teachers are in need of both guidance and tools to successfully implement assistive technology. This workshop will include an overview of assistive technology resources and who could benefit from accessing them. Basic UDL concepts, and how they influence the way our support strategies are implemented, as well as various AT supports for literacy building will be discussed.
