About the Program

Microsoft is committed to building solutions and devices focused on the inclusion of all people and their individual needs. This session will focus on technologies geared toward the empowerment of educators and students and cover various aspects of assistive and accessible technology.

Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to understand built-in, free tools throughout the Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Participants will be able to identify ways in which Windows 10/11 devices can support individuals with assistive technology.
  • Participants will be able to begin using these tools immediately after learning about them.

About the Presenter

Heather Cox

Heather is a MicrosoftEDU Modern Workplace Specialist. Through this role, she works to support educators and students with the best EDU solutions and devices. Prior to joining Microsoft, Heather spent 13.5 years in education as an Instructional Technology Specialist and a classroom teacher and Instructional Technology Coach.
