David Cull, MD FACS

David Cull, M.D., Prisma Health Health Sciences Center (HSC) Vice President of Academic Development and the Designated Institutional Official (DIO), is a senior advisor to the HSC Executive Vice President and Provost, the Prisma Health–Upstate chief operating, science and academic officers and the dean of the UofSC School of Medicine Greenville on academic issues (eg. policy, resources, quality of instruction) related to the clinical learning environment and assists them with the development of the HSC Strategic Plan.

Dr. Cull received his medical doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and completed his residency in general surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was a vascular surgery fellow at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Va. Dr. Cull is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the Southern Surgical Association, the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery, the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, and the Southeastern Surgical Congress. His special interests include lower extremity arterial insufficiency, limb salvage and dialysis access.
