10th Anniversary

Over the last decade, the School of Medicine Greenville has answered the call to address a significant shortage of physicians in South Carolina.  Making real improvements in health, however, requires more physicians and a different kind of physician.

Building on a Tradition of Partnership

With the increasing prevalence of chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity, we believe that our physician graduates must facilitate and advocate for transformative care that improves patient health and the health of communities.

Over the last decade our mutually beneficial economic relationship with the City of Greenville has brought an estimated $100 million per year to the region, with innovative programs like Root Cause and Bridges to Excellence engaging the community of Greenville.

We’re building on decades of local hospital partnerships to train physicians who will make an impact across the state.

Celebrating 10 Years of Medical Education

On September 22, 2022, we will celebrate ten years of producing tomorrow's physicians at our 10th Anniversary Gala.

The 10th Anniversary Gala is the first in a series of planned events as we take this year to celebrate this milestone and look froward to the decades ahead!

Invited guests will join us in celebrating ten years of developing evidence-based, patient-centered care using a professional philosophy that stresses constructive communication and inter-professional, team-based care.
