Tutoring
Large Group Tutoring
Large Group Tutoring is offered for preclinical modules on a weekly basis, focusing
on student application of module material through NBME-Style Questions. Guided by
student hosts, these sessions allow for both content review and test-taking strategies
that are critical to success on medical school board exams.
Small Group Tutoring
Small Group Tutoring is designed to facilitate mastery of module material. Each small
group works through curated questions as team, with a peer tutor to facilitate identification
of content for further self-directed learning.
Peer Support Program
A cohort of students who have been trained in this nationally recognized program are Certified Peer Support Specialists. In this role, these students are resources to their peers who may need a supportive ear. These student specialists are trained to support peers in need of acute mental health support.
