The MIB Double Degree and one-year programs are comprised of extremely diverse, talented
and accomplished professionals, each pursuing different dreams and career goals. Below
are the profiles of a few MIB graduates.
Maria, United States
Maria is the Director of Business and Relationships at North America for NightLight
Design, Co. Ltd., a social enterprise that offers alternative employment to women
coming out of Thailand's sex industry. She went through the one-year Master of International
Business program at the Moore School. Her interests in anti-trafficking and social
entrepreneurship and the opportunities at the Moore School led her to study in Costa
Rica and Mexico, serve as a social media intern at The Nature Conservancy and work
as a marketing and outreach intern for NightLight International in Thailand.
Matteo is going to Germany to complete his Masters of Management degree as part of
the MIB Double Degree program at the University of Mannheim. With an interest in entrepreneurship,
he would eventually like to start his own business. He was a pitcher for the Italian
National Olympic Baseball Team, the creator and administrator of www.baseballideas.it, a
logistic production planner for Tetra Pak in Italy and a logistic planner for Automobili
Lamborghini S.p.A. in Italy.
Iris, Hong Kong
Iris is part of the International Business and Chinese Enterprise program. She is
interested in economic development and customer behavior research and analysis. She
has experience as a research assistant in Hong Kong and has studied in Indonesia,
the United States and the UK.
Henry, United States
Henry is working to further his studies in international educational development after
completing the one-year Master of International Business program. He is interested
in human rights and development, HIV/AIDS research, international education and the
MENA Region. His past experience includes serving as an interim coordinator for the
South Carolina Chamber of Commerce's Business Week and working as a Palmetto Council
for International Visitors intern for the Columbia Council for Internationals. He
has studied in Austria, Chile, Argentina and Spain.
After completing the one-year Master of International Business program, Pamela is
going to work for a foreign investment firm focused in Latin America. Her interests
include foreign investment activities, operations management supply chain, project
management and consulting, which all helped her greatly in her positions as a project
coordinator for Unilever, a controller analyst for Madeco and a consult for Investments
and Consulting Cedron, all in Chile.
Thomas is going to work in South America in an industrial group after completing the
MIB Double Degree program with ESCP Europe. His interests in management consulting
and management control led to an internship with GE Oil & Gas in Scotland in financial
planning and analysis and a position as a management controller for The Blue Pumpkin
in Cambodia. Besides studying in the United States, he has also studied in the UK.
