Background

Miriam Shealy joined the Darla Moore School of Business as a lecturer in the spring of 2019. She received her B.S. in business administration (accounting) from the University of South Carolina in 1986. She received her MBA degree from the University of Georgia in 2001. She is a certified public accountant in South Carolina. Prior to joining the faculty in the School of Accounting, she served as an adjunct instructor at University of Maryland Global Campus at various locations in Europe, as well as several other colleges and universities in the United States. She also worked in industry and corporate accounting for more than 30 years.
