The NewBassoon Institute with Dark in the Song is a four-day workshop on contemporary bassoon literature, performance techniques and pedagogy, led members of Dark in the Song, called a “bassoon supergroup” by the American Music Center.

The workshop is designed for college students and above and includes faculty and student performances, master classes, chamber music coachings, exhibits and a performance competition.
