Carolina Band Auxiliary Clinics
Carolina Rhythm - Sunday, June 12 - Monday, June 13

Clinic Fees - The registration fee is $82 per student to be made online. If you pay and register at least 10 students at the same time, you may receive a $10 discount per student. To take advantage of this offer, please contact uscbands@mozart.sc.edu.
Housing

Carolina Rhythm
1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, June 12
9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Monday, June 13
Carolina Rhythm is the UofSC clinic for battery percussion, including marching snare
drums, tenor drums and bass drums. Clinicians will include Carolina Band Drumline
Instructor, Dr. Bailey Seabury, UofSC Percussion Doctoral Candidate, Andrew Patzig and our featured clinician is Yamaha Artist, Bret Kuhn. Individual students may register for the clinic. High Schools sending a full drumline
will receive an instructional block specifically for their line.
Carolina Spin
1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday, June 19
9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Monday, June 20
Carolina Spin is the UofSC colorguard clinic. Clinicians will include Katie and Billy
Pacifico from Atlanta. Katie and Billy are The Carolina Band Colorguard coordinators
and work with numerous high school bands and winter guards.

Carolina Lead: The UofSC Drum Major Clinic - June 16-18
The UofSC Drum Major Clinic is an intensive 3-day clinic for rising 10th-12th grade students who will serve as their band’s drum major in the fall.

Clinic Features
The UofSC Drum Major Clinic provides high school leaders with three days of instruction in basic conducting technique, score study, advanced musicianship, vocal commands, salutes, music and marching instruction and dynamic leadership.
Clinic Fee: Clinic fee is $138.50, which includes all instruction and materials, t-shirt, daily
lunch and bag to hold all materials. (Lodging is not included in the camp price)
