Big data is high-volume, and high-velocity and/or high-variety information assets
that facilitate cost-effective, innovative forms of information processing and enable
decision making and automating processes. Nursing informatics provides the vehicle for integrating nursing data into health
policy and embedding nursing data into research and practice.
The Center for Nursing Leadership, established in 2004, serves as a career-long development resource center. The center
specializes in programs designed to meet the unique needs of nurse leaders and their
organizations. We provide a virtual project development environment for collaborative
teams from across the state to advance health for all South Carolina residents.
