Change of Major

Are you a current student at USC who would like to join the Arnold School? We can help!

If you are currently enrolled in another college or school on the Columbia campus, you must apply to change your major to the Arnold School of Public Health.

THE DEADLINE FOR ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER/FALL 2020 SEMESTER HAS PASSED.

The next round of applications will be considered for Spring 2021 admission.
If you need assistant making immediate academic plans, please see an Exploratory Advisor in the University Advising Center located in the Close-Hipp Building.


INTERNAL TRANSFER APPLICATION PROCESS

Students must attend an Arnold School New Major Information Session prior to applying. Sessions will be offered throughout the Fall 2020 semester.

New Major Information Sessions are held in Room 107 of the Public Health Research Center (PHRC), located at 921 Assembly Street.

The Arnold School admissions policy requires adherence to the following guidelines:

  1. Students must have a minimum USC cumulative GPA of 2.75 and a minimum of 12 USC credit hours to apply.
  2. Students must attend an ASPH New Major Information Session and submit a Change of Major Application.
  3. Applications will NOT be accepted after established deadlines.
