The Exercise Science Club of USC will hold its fifth annual World Activity Day fundraiser for United Cerebral Palsy of South Carolina on Saturday, April 7 at the Strom Thurmond Wellness Center events fields.
World Activity Day is a team field event designed to promote physical fitness and health and it is a great way for the individuals served by UCPSC to show off their physical capabilities! Registration is $6 per student or $24 for a team of four students. Check in will begin at 10 a.m., and the activities start at 11 a.m. and run until 2 p.m.. Lunch will be provided at no extra cost, and prizes will be awarded to the top three teams!
The club sets up a variety of field day team activities, from tug of war to three legged races to wheelbarrow races, and the individuals from UCP love being a part of it as well. The club has raised around $2,500 for UCP of South Carolina since this event started (over $1,000 from the 2016 event alone!).
