Why you chose to pursue your degree within the ASPH: Growing up, I was always drawn to the healthcare field but was unsure as to which specific path to take. When I was introduced to the field of public health, I immediately knew it was the right direction for me, as it allows me the opportunity to work towards creating meaningful, large-scale changes that improve health outcomes across entire populations. After learning that the Arnold School is one of the best in the nation, I decided to schedule a tour. I fell in love with the environment and school spirit at USC and Arnold immediately impressed me. I knew it’d be a place where I could grow my knowledge of public health by taking classes that both intrigued and challenged me, as well as having continual support throughout my undergraduate years.

Advice for future students: My advice for future students is to get involved in what genuinely makes you happy. There are so many opportunities, clubs, and experiences that the school has to offer. By customizing your college experience to your true interests and passions, you will meet so many like-minded individuals who help to make USC feel like home.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
