Arnold School of Public Health

Public Health Society

Public Health Society logoOur organization aims to exemplify the values of a Public Health major in the Arnold school, both on the B.A. and B.S. track. Their mission is to incorporate the knowledge of natural science and social science principles and familiarity with cultural and socioeconomic differences among populations, in order to protect the environment, prevent the spread of disease, enhance health and well-being at home and abroad and affect change in policy and law that ensures the rights of all citizens to a healthy world. The Public Health society aims to uphold these values by:

  • Hosting informative meetings run by guest speakers of various health professions, both clinical and administrative.
  • Providing students with professional experiences within the University and community.
  • Enabling students to attend and participate in professional conferences.
  • Encouraging individuals to build a professional network of educators, students, alumni, experts in the public health field and beyond.
