We acknowledge that the obstacles to this work are systemic and deeply rooted in a history of racism and oppression that plague institutions at all levels of society—including our College and profession. We envision a path forward by taking responsibility for how we individually and collectively can better embody and advance the principles of anti-oppressive social work. We invite students, faculty, staff and partnering agencies to join us in this effort.
The DEI Committee (DEI-C) is a group of faculty, staff, and students that meets monthly to work on tasks and
priorities related to diversity, equity and inclusion. Student members are elected by their peers. During 2022/23 we meet the third Friday of each month from 9 – 10am. If you’d like to contact the DEI-C or have a DEI-related concern you’d like us to
address, please email Professor Ben Roth (email@example.com).
