Analucia Brown has assisted thousands of students through the application process in her near decade as admissions counselor at the College of Social Work. Before moving to South Carolina, Brown lived in the Rio Grande Valley area of south Texas and mentored students transitioning into college life at the University of Texas Pan-American.
Brown also contributes volunteer hours to help her local communities. In 2003, she helped create the St. George Food Pantry, which still feeds needy families in south Texas. Brown also served as co-director of Rio Bridges Youth Service Retreat, a winter break service retreat that allowed youth to serve needy individuals and families in Texas and Mexico.
