You complete the Academic English program and can transition into the Extended Accelerator Program and start working toward your degree.

Program Information

• Available to: Students at both the undergraduate and graduate level*
• First-Year Program Length Options: 1 semester (17 weeks)
• Program Curriculum: Planned
• Credits Earned Toward Degrees: Not applicable
• Progression Requirements: Successful completion of the Academic English program (GPA + Levels)

*Note: Progression into the summer semester is not available for graduate students. 

Entry Requirements

• One of these scores:
  
  • Minimum TOEFL®: Below 60
  • Minimum IELTS™: Below 5.0
  • Minimum iTEP: Below 3.0 

Graduate

• GPA Requirement: 3.0*
  • *MSEM GPA requirement: 2.75
• One of these scores:
  
  • Minimum TOEFL®: Below 74
  • Minimum IELTS™: Below 6.0
  • Minimum iTEP: Below 4.0

Following completion of your 8 week session you will progress into the program that is right for you depending on your academic background and English-language proficiency.
