Pre-University Programs in the Office of Continuing Education and Conferences is accepting applications for day and residential counselors for summer programs for high school and middle-school students. Counselor positions are open to USC Columbia students who are rising sophomores and above with a cumulative GPA of 3.25.
Day and residential counselors will serve as university ambassadors and mentors to middle and high school students participating in academic pre-university summer programs, including the Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series, SAT/ACT Summer Institutes and Summer Program Research Interns from the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics.
- These positions are a great resume builder and an opportunity to gain experience working with youth.
- These are full-time positions during the summer (May 30-July 23).
- Day counselors will make $310 a week; and residential counselors will make $400 a week.
