Dr. Mohamed H. Rashwan, Business Program Director in the Faculty of Business Administration, Economics and Political Science at The British University in Egypt has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright Award to conduct research with Dr. Steven V. Mann, Professor of Finance at the Darla Moore School of Business from May – August 2016.
Dr. Rashawn and Dr. Mann will assess the feasibility of using current valuation models
in emerging markets, in particular the Egyptian Financial Markets. The goal is to
build a valuation model that can be used in emerging markets that encounter most of
the existing uncertainty, and to apply the model intensively on the Egyptian market
to assess both the reliability and validity of the model for emerging markets in general.
This research will bring positive acclaim to the university while enhancing our reputation
for research in financial markets.
