UofSC offers convenient voter registration

The University of South Carolina now offers a convenient way for students, faculty and staff to register to vote. Using the online system TurboVote, residents of all 50 states and D.C. can register online or receive a form by mail if their state requires a hard copy form to be submitted.
The university’s Leadership and Service Center and Lead the Way, a non-partisan student-led initiative, are encouraging members of the Carolina community to register to vote as the first step toward becoming active and engaged citizens. They’re planning a series of voter registration events on Greene Street and have scheduled a number of speakers to visit campus this fall to talk about civic engagement.
