Jarod Holt is named the Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life

Jarod Holt has been named director of fraternity and sorority life at the University
of South Carolina. Jarod has served in roles of increasing responsibility at South
Carolina in the six years he has been on campus. Prior to serving as the interim director,
Jarod served as associate director of fraternity and sorority life. In this role he
advised fraternity council, fraternity recruitment and oversaw the strategic planning
and assessment efforts for the 6,000 member community.
Jarod earned a bachelor’s degree from USC Aiken and a master’s degree in higher education
and student affairs from USC Columbia. He is an active member of Lambda Chi Alpha,
serving as a national volunteer and previously as a staff member at the national office.
Additionally, he is active in the Association of Fraternity Advisors (AFA) where he
regularly presents innovative and creative approaches to advising and supporting fraternity
and sorority communities.
