Host your undergraduate class for dinner

Faculty are encouraged to apply to host a Dinner Dialogues meal with an undergraduate class this semester.

The Dinner Dialogues initiative, organized by the Office of Parent & Family Programs, offers instructors a unique way to increase interaction with their students beyond the classroom and build community among their undergraduate class. The dinner must be held at the home of the instructor of record and between the first and last day of classes for the semester. Instructors will be reimbursed up to $10 per undergraduate student enrolled in the class.

Of the fall 2017 Dinner Dialogues attendees, 96% felt that the dinner allowed them to better get to know their professor and 86% felt more comfortable asking questions in class or visiting their instructor during office hours (those who responded otherwise stated they already felt comfortable doing so).

Apply today to host your undergraduate class for dinner and take part in this award-winning initiative.
