Changes made to late-night shuttle from Five Points

Pick-up point moves, new stops added off campus

The University of South Carolina has changed its pick-up location for its late-night shuttle from the Five Points entertainment district for enrolled students for the 2018-19 academic year.

The new spot for pick-ups is on the 2100 block of Santee Ave., located near the old Harper’s location at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Park, and runs from 10:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

The shuttle also will make drop-offs on-campus at five locations as well as three off-campus housing complexes.

On-campus: Capstone/Columbia Hall, Williams-Brice Nursing Building, Longstreet Theatre, Greek Village and Blatt P.E. Center.

Off-campus: at the intersection of Pulaski and Devine St. (near Colonial Life Arena), Park Place and Aspyre (now YOUnion)

This shuttle will run every weekend of the semester this fall. To see the route and check where the bus is in real time, download the Transloc Rider app from the Apple or Google Play stores.
