Applications are open for National Science Foundation Innovation Corps

Innovation Corps, I-Corps, is a National Science Foundation site at UofSC that supports commercialization of technology-driven projects and builds an innovation network that supports faculty and student ventures in entreprentureship.

Students can now apply for I-Corps funding that will go toward prototyping, travel and other business expenses for their projects. Recipients will be entered into a training program, receive $3,000 in startup funds and attend three half-day workshops if selected.

The program encourages projects with a focus in areas of science, technology, engineering or mathematics. However, all types of projects will be considered.

Proposals are due by Sept. 21. Students will know whether their project was selected by Sept. 24.

For more information about this opportunity visit the USC I-Corps website.
