"I have been an RM [resident mentor] for three years now, and I really like helping
people and making a difference for those around me. Being an RM I get to do both by
supporting my residents in time of need, but also helping them feel welcome at UofSC
as well as getting them involved on campus. My favorite part of being an RM is seeing
them get involved and really grow as college students through their experiences. It's
just nice seeing people learn and rise to become really amazing people. I love seeing
people go above and beyond for the Housing Room of the Year Competition to make Carolina
feel like home. College is really what you make of it, so seeing people actively work
to make their experience as awesome as it can be is really heartwarming."
