"I’m the social media management intern for the Substance Abuse and Prevention Education
office. As a member of the Bateman Team, I get to build a PR campaign from start to
finish with my teammates.
I know after I graduate, I want to work in PR or sports social media. Honestly, I
can’t decide what I’m more interested in. Right now, my plan is to apply for everything
and hope that the decision is made for me.
I’m at the point in my undergraduate experience where most of my classes feel more
like “the real world." Instead of just learning the principles of PR, I get to implement
them in my PR Campaigns class. A year ago, I had no idea what life after college could
look like. But today I can see it taking shape. Without the work experience I get
from my on-campus jobs and classes, I would have no reference point."
