"Coming into college mid-pandemic did not affect me that much, and I was still able to have a normal college experience. All my classes were in-person, as well as most club meetings or campus events.
I am looking forward to returning in the fall. I had a great freshman year and made so many good memories. I loved meeting people who had similar backgrounds and interests as me, such as the Asian community at UofSC. Coming into college I did not know what to expect, but I met amazing friends and it was so fun being able to figure out college life with them, even if it was stressful at times. I hope my sophomore year can be even better.
Last semester, I joined a service sorority, and the rush process was hard but rewarding. I am excited to continue to be a part of that and serve our community. I also hope to do well in my classes and study hard, but remember to have a good balance. I would like to get more involved in the clubs I am in and go to other college events."
