We are fortunate to have a brand-new, state-of-the-art SAXS instrument and dedicated technical support.  Billing for usage is how we keep this all up-and-running for your benefit.  SCSC is a self-sustaining facility based on user fees. 

Academic Rates
Instrument Time	$35/hr
Technician Support (mount, load, measure, provide final data, and basic analysis)	$60/hr
User Training	$200/ea

 

Remote access is possible in adjacent rooms and off-site prior to X-ray safety training.

 

Industry Rates
Basic Sample - single measurement	$150/ea
Complex Sample - e.g. combination of WAXS/MAXS/SAXS/ESAXS or a single long measurement	$300/ea
