Departmental Assessments
The University's Environmental Policy requires evaluation and monitoring of progress toward its stated goals. The Campus Assessments which follow are important elements of the evaluation process.The assessment questionnaire was designed by graduate student interns from the School of the Environment and the Sustainable Universities Initiative to aid the work of both the EMS team and the EAC. Students attempted to collect information in a consistent format from facilities and other operations groups on campus so that it can be compared from one year to the next. The questionnaire was also designed to be somewhat comparable to earlier campus audits conducted from 1994 - 1997.
