Print this page.Jessica Freed joined the University of South Carolina admissions staff in March 2006. The Kansas City, Mo., native came to USC after working in the athletics marketing office at the University of North Texas. During the 2004-05 academic year, Jessica served as a graduate assistant in the Wichita State University athletics marketing office and oversaw promotional efforts for the Shocker women's basketball team. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in advertising/public relations from Texas Christian University in December 2003 and worked as a marketing intern for the TCU athletics department as a senior. Jessica received her Master of Education in sport administration from WSU in December 2005. She currently resides in Columbia with her husband, Matt Freed, who is an assistant director for the Gamecock athletics media relations office.
