Laura is a National Merit Finalist and a Palmetto Fellow. She is president of her school’s Speech and Debate Club and is also a member of the Model UN. In 2007, she won the Outstanding Delegate Award at the University of Georgia Model UN Conference. In 2006, Laura participated in the Lexington Medical Center Partners Program. She is also active in the National Honors Society, Beta Club, and the Academic Quiz Bowl Team.
