We recommend that international students apply to the University at least nine months before the semester in which you plan to begin your studies.
If you are applying as an international freshman student, you will need to meet the following application deadlines:
- Spring 2008 (January) semester: applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by November 1, 2007. All credentials are due by January 2, 2008.
- Summer I 2008 (June) semester: applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by December 1, 2007. All credentials are due by February 1, 2008.
- Summer II 2008 (July) semester: applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by December 1, 2007. All credentials are due by February 1, 2008.
- Fall 2008 (August) semester: applications must be submitted by December 1, 2007. All credentials are due by February 1, 2008. If you are applying for the South Carolina Honors College, you must submit your application by November 15, 2007. All credentials must be received by November 15 as well.
If you are applying as an international transfer student, you will need to meet the following deadlines:
- Spring 2008 (January) semester: applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by November 1, 2007. All credentials are due by January 2, 2008.
- Summer I 2008 (June) semester: applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by May 1, 2008. All credentials are due by May 23, 2008.
- Summer II 2008 (July) semester: applications must be submitted electronically or postmarked by June 1, 2008. All credentials are due by June 27, 2008.
- Fall 2008 (August) semester: applications must be submitted by June 1, 2008. All credentials are due by August 8, 2008.
